Cheetah VPN ("the Service") is operated as a free VPN application. This page explains what information is and isn't collected when you use the Service.
We do not log your browsing activity, the websites you visit, or the content of your traffic while connected to the VPN.
Our VPN server does not record connection timestamps or session history tied to your traffic.
Our server does retain a minimal device registry: a mapping between your app's WireGuard public key, an assigned internal tunnel IP address, and the date it was first registered. This is used only to allow your device to connect and does not contain your browsing history or personal identity.
Our infrastructure provider (currently Vultr) may retain its own network-level connection metadata for its own operational and abuse-prevention purposes, outside of our control. Please refer to Vultr's own privacy policy for details.
While connected, your DNS queries are routed through the VPN tunnel rather than your network provider's default resolver, using one of the following third-party DNS resolvers:
These resolvers are operated by Cloudflare, Inc. and AdGuard, respectively, and process your DNS queries under their own privacy policies, outside of our control.
The app uses the following third-party services, which may independently collect device identifiers, advertising IDs, or usage data as part of their own operation:
Please refer to each provider's own privacy policy for details on what they collect.
Premium subscribers can choose apps to exclude from the VPN tunnel. To show this list, the app reads the names of apps installed on your device. This list is read locally to build the selection screen and is never transmitted to us or anyone else.
We do not require account creation, sign-up, or any personally identifiable information (name, email, phone number) to use the core VPN service.
Cheetah VPN does not use accounts, so there is no login-based deletion flow. To request deletion of your data, email kdb663163@gmail.com with the WireGuard public key shown in the app's connection settings (this is the only identifier tied to your device on our server).
What gets deleted and how long we keep it:
This Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
Questions about this Privacy Policy can be sent to kdb663163@gmail.com.
